Keto Snacks for Movies (Recipes)

Nacho Cheese Crisp

This extremely easy two ingredient Keto snack for movies is an american staple before I started my diet(didn't have this recipe) I decided to cut all the cracker type foods from my life, I was thrilled to find this recipe and immediately started making it for me and my family as movie snacks.

 Yields: 6 Servings

Prep Time: 0 Hours 5 Mins

Total Time: 0 Hours 55 Mins

Ingredients:

1 (8-oz.) package sliced cheddar (preferably Sargento)

2 tsp. taco seasoning

Instructions

Preheat oven to 250ยบ and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut each slice of cheese into 9 squares and place in a medium bowl. Add taco seasoning and toss to coat.

Lay cheese slices in an even layer (make sure none are overlapping!) on prepared baking sheet. Bake until crisp and golden, 40 minutes (they will crisp up even more when cooled). Let cool 10 minutes, then remove from parchment paper.

Rosemary Keto Crackers

Usually Crackers aren't allowed on a Ketogenic Diet but for this keto snack for movies recipes it is encouraged. Keto Crackers are very easy to make and they're actually made with almond flour, you will also be adding in herbs but that is more of a personal preference then a must it's primarily whichever herbs enjoy. My family just really seem to like Rosemary so that's how I make them!!

Yields: 140

Prep Time: 0 Hours 20 Mins

Total Time: 1 Hour 0 Mins

Ingredients:

2 1/2 c. almond flour

1/2 c. coconut flour

1 tsp. ground flaxseed meal

1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, chopped

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. kosher salt

3 large eggs

1 tbsp. Extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together flours, flaxmeal, rosemary, onion powder, and salt. Add eggs and oil and mix to combine. Continue mixing until dough forms a large ball, about 1 minute.

Sandwich dough between 2 pieces of parchment and roll to ¼" thick. Cut into squares and transfer to prepared baking sheet.

Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool before storing in a resealable container.

Whole flaxseeds are so small, it can be hard for our bodies to digest them. To better absorb their heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, opt for ground.

Keto Tortilla Chips

Another very very simple keto snack for movies recipe. It too only has two ingredients so preparing it as well as clean ups will be effortless and quick.  Some use seasoning on these but if you are not the biggest fan of seasoning then you can just use some Salt and Pepper. Perfect with some homemade guacamole even better for a keto snack during a movie.

Yields: 4-6 Servings

Prep Time: 0 Hours 5 Mins

Total Time: 0 Hours 36 Mins

Ingredients:

2 c. shredded mozzarella

1 c. almond flour

1 tsp. kosher salt

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. chili powder

Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt mozzarella, about 1 minute 30 seconds. Add almond flour, salt, garlic powder, chili powder, and a few cracks black pepper. Using your hands, knead dough a few times until a smooth ball forms.

Place dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out into a rectangle ⅛” thick. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut dough into triangles.

Spread chips out on prepared baking sheets and bake until edges are golden and starting to crisp, 12 to 14 minutes.

Keto Famous Ice Cream

This keto-friendly ice cream is creamy, rich, and just barely sweet. Feel free to up the sweetener a little, but in our opinion, the coconut milk makes is decadent enough. Warning: Just out of the freezer, the ice cream will be kinda difficult to scoop. We recommend letting it thaw at room temperature for 10 minutes or so to make it easier on you (and your biceps). With the warning in mind this should be your kids favorite keto snack for movies.

Fold whipped coconut into whipped cream, then transfer mixture into a loaf pan.

Freeze until solid, about 5 hours.

  1. Thank you so much for taking the time to post all these recipes-wow!!! I am very new to keto (almost 3 weeks now) and have been enjoying it so far! Just need to make a few tweaks (my sleep hasn’t been great and my energy doesn’t seem as high or consistent as when I first started out). But that’s ok I’ve lost some noticeable weight in the short time I’ve been following Dr Berg’s Healthy Keto program, and I plan to give this a good go. Anyways rabbit trail haha sorry, I’m supposed to go to the movies in a few days and looked up keto movie snacks and came across your post. Love your neat ideas! I’ll have to give them a try! Thanks again! ☺️❤️
